(A Biblical Summary)
Silver Stock Report
by Jason Hommel, January 19, 2009
Warning: The material that follows may not be suitble for all readers, but only truth seeking Chrisitans.
Bible Prophesy is given for those who believe. It is not for unbelievers.
1Cor 14:22 ... prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.
Since not all Christian believers have the same maturity level, some Christian authors held back some of the things they wanted to say.
1Cor 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual,
but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
Prophesy is supposed to bring comfort to the believer, and perhaps discomfort to the unbeliever, or perhaps the immature Christian.
1 Corinthians 14:3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.
Jude 1:22 And on some have compassion, making a distinction; 23 but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.
So, some will be comforted by prophecy, and others will become afraid.
So, this is your last warning to turn away.
Prophecy is also greatly hidden, and contains many mysteries.
Prov 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.
1 Cor 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
Revelation 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Once you understand a few mysteries, more mysteries can be explained.
For example, one mystery is that not everybody can understand. They cannot see, because they are blinded.
Isaiah 44:18 They have not known nor understood: for he [God] hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.
John 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
We are instructed on how to act when we encounter such people. Refute them once or twice, then leave.
Titus 3:10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
Mark 6:11 And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, shake the dust off your feet when you leave, as a testimony against them."
And if they attack, flee.
Matthew 10:23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
Not all men who study prophecy agree with each other. There are many different views. And why? To highlight, by way of comparison, who are approved.
1 Corinthians 11:19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
How do we make ourselves approved? Through study.
2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
There are many things I would like to say, but my time is limited, and so is yours.
Therefore, summaries can be very useful at times.
I will try to back up everything I say with 2-3 scriptural references as witnesses, and this makes it difficult to present doctrine, because each point is debatable, due to so many men being in darkness. Even my presentation method will not enlighten them; they cannot understand.
An abomination is one of the worst things to God, by defintion.
But paper money has to be worse than an abomination! One abomination is unjust weights and measures.
Proverbs 11:1 A false balance is an abomination to the LORD, But a just weight is His delight.
Thus, all paper money of all kinds, all kinds of promises of men, will be utterly destroyed. Many Christians can agree with that, but they often think that will only happen in another age, after Christ returns.
I agree, in part. True, I believe Christ will return in the future and set all things right. But Christ can dwell in you now, to get you to wake up to the abomination of paper money now, and you can set things right in your own life, to the extent possible.
Paper money is worse than an abomination because it is not even an "unjust measure", instead, it is no measure of anything at all. The "dollar" is not a lessor and unjust measure of silver, like it was from 1965 to 1967 when half dollars were made with 40% silver, rather than 90% silver. That was an abomination.
Today, dollars are not silver at all, so they are worse!
The mother of abominations on the earth, according to Revelation 17 above, is the Great Harlot. She practices usury, as God allows.
Deuteronomy 28:12 "... and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow."
Lending to foreigners was allowed.
Deuteronomy 23:19 “You shall not charge interest to your brother—interest on money or food or anything that is lent out at interest. 20 To a foreigner you may charge interest, but to your brother you shall not charge interest, that the LORD your God may bless you in all to which you set your hand in the land which you are entering to possess.
By practicing usury, by lending to the nations, the Harlot is able to control the Kings of the earth.
Proverbs 22:7 The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.
Rev 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
The Harlot is called a harlot because she seeks security with the Kings of the Earth, rather than from her true Husband, the King of Kings in Heaven.
For a time, the Harlot will appear to succeed. She "reigns" the kings of the earth, specifically, ten kings,
Revelation 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
I believe these ten kings are a reference to a world government of ten regions.
In 1973, David Rockefeller and Zbigniew Brzezinski organized the Trilateral Commission. The Club of Rome issued a report entitled the "Regionalized and Adaptive Model of the Global World System," which proposes that the world be divided into ten regions.
World governments do several things. Generally, they unite men by using gold and silver as money, which bring prosperity, and they bring peace by ending war.
It is important to remember that God is the ultimate soverign over the kingdoms of men, the King of Kings.
Daniel 2:19 During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven 20 and said: "Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. 21 He changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposes them.
Daniel 2:37 Thou, O king, (Nebuchadnezzar) art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.
Daniel 4:17 " 'The decision is announced by messengers, the holy ones declare the verdict, so that the living may know that the Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone he wishes and sets over them the lowliest of men.'
And the Harlot will find herself living in peace, security, and prosperity, rich in silver and gold, for a while.
Ezekiel 37:7 " 'Get ready; be prepared, you and all the hordes gathered about you, and take command of them. 8 After many days you will be called to arms. In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. They had been brought out from the nations, and now all of them live in safety. 9 You and all your troops and the many nations with you will go up, advancing like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land.
10 " 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: On that day thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil scheme. 11 You will say, "I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people—all of them living without walls and without gates and bars. 12 I will plunder and loot and turn my hand against the resettled ruins and the people gathered from the nations, rich in livestock and goods, living at the center of the land." 13 Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all her villages will say to you, "Have you come to plunder? Have you gathered your hordes to loot, to carry off silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods and to seize much plunder?" '
14 "Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: In that day, when my people Israel are living in safety, will you not take notice of it?
Ezekiel and Daniel were contemporaries of the time of the Babylonian invasion of Israel. Both wrote of a future time period of 7 years, which, today, we call the "seven year tribulation", or "Daniel's 70th week.
Ezekiel 39:9 “Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and bucklers, the bows and arrows, the javelins and spears; and they will make fires with them for seven years.
Daniel 9:24 Seventy 'sevens' are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy.
25 "Know and understand this: From the issuing of the
decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the
ruler, comes, there will be seven 'sevens,' and sixty-two 'sevens.' It
will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. 26
After the sixty-two 'sevens,' the Anointed One will be cut off and will
have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the
city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue
until the end, and desolations have been decreed. 27 He will confirm a
covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the
'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And
on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes
desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him."
1 Thessalonians 5:1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren,
you have no need that I should write to you. 2 For you yourselves know
perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3
For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction
comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not
escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this
Day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all sons of light and sons
of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us
not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. 7 For those who
sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. 8 But
let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith
and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. 9 For God did not appoint
us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who
died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with
The rapture is the great change.
1Cor 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we
shall all be changed,
Getting back to what happes after the rapture, after the change.
Ultimately however, the ten kings turn on the harlot, to destroy her,
and they turn their power over to the eighth beast.
Revelation 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. 17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
And the eighth beast will reject God's provision of silver and gold, and will create a new economic system.
Revelation 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. (666)
The 666 appears to be a cashless, goldless, electronic debt type of money system that allows constant tracking of and permission for all types of trade.
The opposite is God's creation of gold and silver as a provision for men to use as honest weights and measures for money, which are anonymous, and you don't need anyone's permission to use.
Deuteronomy 25:15 You must have accurate and honest weights and measures, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.
Most Christian writers today suggest that we should fight the coming world governments, but I find no call in the Bible to do so. Instead, I see only that we are to "come out of the Harlot", which, I take to mean to not try to imitate the Harlot control the governments by lending them any money. This is perfectly fitting with the rest of the Bible's doctrine, which teaches me to seek honesty, and avoid lending at usury completely, because all men are brothers, and so, we should not treat our enemies badly by lending to them, which enslaves them.
Luke 6:31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.
32"If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' do that. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' lend to 'sinners,' expecting to be repaid in full. 35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
Sometimes, the best way
to teach things to unbelievers is to hide all the overt Christian references, and to
let them seek out the meaning.
